Vanilla Latte…

I’m sitting here in Nashville at this coffee shop called Fido. It’s a trendy little cafe where all the cool kids with faux hawks and serious bed-head hang out. I’m guilty of have both in my day so I have liberty to talk about it…. also, as far as bed head is concerned, I still have it every morning and the majority of my day. Also, a lot of people have beards here… I’m thinking about shaving mine because of that.

The more I think about it, there are a lot of “me’s” around Nashville. What I mean is that there are a lot of dirty musicians hanging out in cafes updating their blog on a mac… some iBooks, some PowerBooks… It reminds me of a poster I saw once. “Remember: You are Unique, just like everyone else.” I mean, back in Charleston (assuming there were a local coffee shop to hang out at other than starbucks) I’m not as common… but here in Nashville, there’s a dozen of guys like me.

Most people go forever looking for a place they feel like they belong… maybe I’ve found it… maybe I haven’t. Sounds like a U2 song.

Well, I just finished my Vanilla Latte… I fear my newfound coffee addiction.

First things first, you gotta do something to filter the spam comments, especially the viagra one ehhhh. You might as well embrace it, coffee is the only thing that keeps me going these days, my blood type is colombian roast. wish I could make it up there this week, keep up the great work.

I’ll ditto with the comment on the comment filter. And coffee addiction isn’t that hard to break. It’s been weeks since I’ve had a cup coffee… however I think I now have a hot tea addiction…

Jon there may be people who look like you in Nashvegas, but there is no one quite like you. And I also concur about the comment filter…..and when you figure out how to get one on here….will you please let me know? I have the same problem with mine.
