Christmas is here…
I went to Fudrucker’s with my friend Kirk and his wife Robin tonight in Warner Robins, GA. They had Christmas music playing the background. I guess the politically correct term would be Holiday Music. The older I get the less magical Christmas becomes for me. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because there are few surprises. I don’t belive in Santa Claus and I can be certain that something from my Christmas list will be purchased. My wife and I bought a new TV for our Christmas gift to each other… Merry Christmas, now we don’t have to talk to each other. Just kidding. We still talk. Contrary to popular belief there still aren’t that many great things on television. That being said, we’re really enjoying Heroes and she’s been sucked in by America’s Next Top Model show. I can’t blame her though. After all the smart-person stuff she does day-in and day-out she deserves some good relaxing with mindless TV… don’t think, just watch. Stay clear of these TV marathons:
Mythbusters
America’s Next Top Model
I Love the (enter year here)
Real World vs. Road Rules
If you see one these marathons you’ll say to yourself (with the exception of Mythbusters), “I’m way too good for these shows.” Next thing you know it’s dinner time and that errand list didn’t get anything checked-off… Oh well.
