Why Robert Goulet!? Why?!
Robert Goulet passed away today at the age of 73. Back when my dad was in the army he was stationed in New Jersey and mom used to ride the train into NYC to do her shopping and stuff. She actually attended a broadway musical he was in. If you know my mom she’s always on time and not one to be in the way but she was running behind this particular afternoon and got into the theater late. Robert Goulet stopped the play and said, “We’ll get going again when that lady finds her seat.” and stood there until she sat down… thanks for embarassing my mother, Robert Goulet.
I swore that if I ever got to meet him I would have told him that story and then kicked him in the hip. Oh well…
