I am happy to announce that grammy-winning producer, mixer, and engineer Tom Schick will be mixing the new record at The Magic Shop in New York.

Tom recently mixed, engineered, and helped produce the new Wilco record (The Whole Love). He’s also produced, mixed, and/or engineered these artists: Ryan Adams (Cold Roses, Jacksonville City Nights, Cardinology), Rufus Wainwright (Want, Want Two), Mavis Staples (You Are Not Alone), Norah Jones (The Fall), She & Him (Vol. 2, A Very She & Him Christmas), M. Ward (Hottest State), and many, many more.

I’m excited to have him on board and can’t wait to hear to work with him.

(ORIGINAL) I would love to have your voice on my record. Sing on my record and I’ll put your name in the liner notes.

Put the guide track in your recording software (garageband, audacity, pro tools, logic, etc.) and sing along with it. You can double my voice or sing a harmony. It doesn’t have to be completely on key or sound amazing either. You can use your laptop microphone or a fancy set up if you have it. Make sure it’s not distorted and export ONLY YOUR VOICE as an .AIF or .WAV file.
